Derek is the Program Director at Tumbles & Cheers

Graduate of The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio with a BS in Architectural Science. 

He was also a 4-year member of the OSU cheerleading team and competed in the 2003 UCA Nationals. 

Former General Manager of Ohio Cheer Force located in Columbus, Ohio.  During his 4 years at Cheer Force his teams earned numerous national titles and had 3 visits to Worlds

Staffed AmeriCheer summer camps for 3 years where he progressed to the Head of Staff position in his 3^rd year. In addition

Trained gymnast having competed for 10+ years at the state and regional level.  His extensive tumbling experience also landed him coaching positions for younger gymnastic teams at the Midland Gymnastics Club in his hometown of Midland, Michigan and at Lake Owen Gymnastics camp in Cable, Wisconsin. 

He is USASF credentialed in Stunting (levels 1-5), Tosses (levels 2-5) and Tumbling (levels 1-5).

Scott is the Director of Special Programs, focusing on camps, clinics, community events, and partnerships with area school teams.

Attended Ohio State University where he was a member of the Nationals team.

Former coach of Ohio Cheer Force in Columbus, Ohio where he coached for 6 years.  During that time his team earned many state and national titles and had 3 appearances at the Cheerleading Worlds.
